We've introduced a new "Unthinkable" to the students called Mean Jean. Mean Jean can get into our brains and make us do things that we know are not okay (In The Whole Brain Child, the authors describe Mean Jean as "Right Brain dominance", where emotion gets the best of us and logic can't enter the picture). Mean Jean makes kids do things like hit, kick, punch, or steal things from others. Children reflected on situations where they (or others) had Mean Jean in their brains.
