What was easy/hard?
If you could do it again, what would you do differently?
Those are three of the questions we are asking students to think about as they work through their IRIS reflections. In social studies, we are allowing the students to complete a similar project where they are collaborating with the other grade 3 classes to build a textbook that we will publish to enhance our classroom libraries. Because we are completing such as similar project to the last one, the self-reflections on IRIS become increasingly critical for student learning.
Students have also spent a significant amount of time working in different math groups for a variety of projects. Some students are continuing to build their foundations in multiplication, some are measuring the class and developing their own plans, and some are working on perimeter. Although these tasks are being completed with different teachers and at different paces, all of the same topics will be taught.
We've noticed that some people are having a hard time with the Literacy Lunch RSVP page - if you are unable to register on that that page, please send an email to your child's teacher.
