Building Gingerbread Homes
The grade 1 teachers have been chasing around a gingerbread man that is on the loose! They sent the letter below to the grade 3 students at our school.
Below are some examples of gingerbread houses found on the internet. As you look through them, ask yourself:
-What features do you see that you might include in your house?

As part of our initial planning phase, you were asked to create a journal page that could be used to discuss, share, and get the ideas flowing. For us, the most important part of this activity is to see how you connect building things to math. The criteria for our journal page is below.
