The other half of the day students participated in a scientific inquiry based on questions generated by the students. One group tested how animals stay warm in the winter using animal pelts, and the other group tested how much sediment is in the water using water samples, and then observed the flood damage from the 2005 and 2013 floods. Students were very engaged with these ideas, and enjoyed using scientific equipment! It was quite icy and chilly today, so we used lots of energy staying warm. I expect everyone will have a great sleep tonight!
Thank you again to those parents who joined us, I greatly appreciate you donating your time!
