Today students continued writing a complete paragraph explaining their prediction of who would win, Tyrannosaurus Rex vs. Velociprator. Ask your student what reasons they have to support their winner! Students also began solving a riddle - ask your student how they will get the fox, duck and corn across the river without any of them being eaten!
This afternoon students began discussing Fish Creek Park in preparation for our upcoming trip there! We talked about how students use the park and the different activities available, and then what problems the park is facing. Students brainstormed an interesting list including cracking bridges, graffiti and littering. Ask your student what problems the park is finding, and what solutions could be developed!
I sent home the skating permission form with some students today, and will send it with the rest tomorrow! (We ran out of time at the end of the day!)
Have a wonderful evening,
- Ms. Bell
