Welcome Back!
Choir is Nov. 13th, Nov. 27th and Dec. 11th during school time for Grade 3 and 4 students. Ask your child if they would like to participate.
Forms went home today for handbells for our December winter caroling. Please return if your child is interested in participating.
Scholastic book orders went home today. You can now pay online with a credit card or by cheque. Please return orders by Nov. 24th if you are interested in ordering.
What did we learn in school today?
Today we learned about control in Alien Inline. Students could gain speed and stop on their inline skates in a game called "Surfers and Sharks". Ask your child about their experience.
Tomorrow as a class we are going to create a piece of art inspired by the work of Chris Jordan. Check out some if his work here.
Home Learning
Today in art/science, we did some paint mixing theory. Ask your child to describe the science behind why red paint looks red. How about green? Is this the same when we mix the same colours of light? Why or why not?
Hope this gives you some interesting dinner table conversations!
Best,
Mrs Maronese
