Hello!
This week has been what we call a "flexible week". We are so lucky to have Quest Theatre here, allowing students to explore the world of Drama. I am very excited to see the plays they have been practicing, and I marvel at how quickly a production can come together. The students have been bringing their A-game, and really committing to the action.
Because of Quest Theatre, my groupings have also been flexible. During Mrs. Hordyk's and Mr. MacKenzie's writing time, students have been with the theatre group, practicing their plays. My Mrs. Redd's and Mrs. Predika's groups (both writing and math) have also been during their Quest Theatre time, so the groupings have been smaller. However, we are still working on narrative writing, and division, allowing those students the opportunity to practice what math and writing skills they have learned, as well as getting more one-on-one time with me.
