A message from the Grade Threes:
Bring your recycling to school!
The Grade three students would like your help with our Maker Station in the Learning Commons. We are looking for building materials to help us with a furniture making station that all students are invited to try. Items that would work well are: newspaper, Magazines, paper tubes, cardboard boxes, egg cartons and cans. All items can be brought directly to the Learning Commons and placed in the large box near the entrance.
Thanks for your support,
Rooms 58, 77, 78, 79 and 80
What did you learn in school today?
Students have been busy working on projects to show our learning about the Blackfoot people of Alberta. Ask your child about what kind they are completing.
In math, we have also been working towards calculating the cost of our trip and generating some goals for fundraising to help offset the costs. A real world problem to practice multiplication and division. Ask your child what they were able to learn!
Home Learning
Can you give your child an example of where you use multiplication in your daily life? Can they help you solve the problem?
Safe driving out there in this lovely Canadian winter!
Best,
Mrs. Maronese
