We really enjoyed the performance by HOJA!
In Math we continued to explore polygons. Students created a journal page including the definition of polygons and created a t-chart show examples and non-examples of polygons. We then had a chance to share what we noticed.
In Writing today we spent some time practicing reading poetry out loud. Students chose a poem to read and then practiced reading it independintly, with a partner then to the whole class. We really enjoyed listening to each other's selections.
Spelling test is tomorrow. The words are posted on last Friday's blog.
I look forward to seeing all of you at parent teacher conferences.
Question for tonight:
What is a polygon?
Have a wonderful evening.
