We began work on our exit projects for the novel The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. We spent some time thinking about the reason behind our project choices and the significance of the scene we chose to the characters in the novel.
Most students were able to bring home their fossils casts from the Royal Tyrrell Museum today. If they did not bring them home yet it is because they still want to add some paint, they should all be home by the end of this week.
In Math we reviewed the vocabulary from yesterday and began to talk about congruency and symmetry. We used miras to reflect the other side of a picture along a line of symmetry today. We will continue to work with Shape and Space tomorrow.
This afternoon we practiced our shadow plays and also had a chance to receive feedback from our teachers and peers. On Thursday we will do a "dress rehearsal" presentation to the grade 4's in preparation for our performance next week to the grade 1's and 2's. We are looking forward to receiving more feedback tomorrow!
Question of the Day
What is the message of your Power4Bones PSA?
Have a great evening!
