Today we continued to work on our very exciting project in Math! Today students began planning their houses and creating a pattern for the roof. They will begin to think about the type of candies they will like to use in their house tomorrow. Please check out the gingerbread house link on our grade 3 blog.
In Social studies today we practiced looking at different images. We were being detectives, looking for clues in the photographs that tell a story about what is happening in the picture. We were learning about the difference between clues and conclusions today.
We are looking for cardboard to use as a base for our gingerbread houses. If you have any extra please send it in with your child this week! It should be strong enough to hold a gingerbread house (not a cereal box).
Spelling test is on Friday.
Thank you,
Have a wonderful evening.
