Our Science presentations are almost completed and ready for the final touches. I have been providing feedback to the groups as they work through the process of developing their presentations. As we move into the rehearsing stage students will be able to reflect on their work and try to make it even stronger.
In Math today we started our License plate Math project. Using license plates with 3 and 4 digit numbers to complete a variety of tasks. In order to prepare for tomorrow I would like students to practice adding two three digit numbers without regrouping. Talk to your parents about what strategy you used. Try to remember which strategy worked for you last year.
Question of the day:
Find the sum of the numbers:
567 and 212. (Remember what the word sum means from today’s math lesson).
What strategy did you try? We will talk about your solutions tomorrow.
Tell your parents about the Learning Commons orientation we had today!
Have a wonderful evening!
