Students worked hard this morning to complete their science experiment from yesterday. When we investigated the strength of different shapes we realized that different shapes have different strengths and that the triangle is one of the strongest shapes. Check out this site that looks at the strength of different shapes:

In Math today students were working to identify the top number (the numerator) of a fraction as representing how many equal parts are being talked about. Students also worked to identify that the bottom number of a fraction (the denominator)represents how many equal parts are in 1 whole.
In Writing we continued to work on developing our story ideas by creating our character sketches and our puppets to help us act out our story prior to creating our story maps.
Spelling test is on Friday
Please work on Mathletics assignments for 20 minutes tonight.
Please read for 15 minutes.
Have a wonderful evening!
