In Science today we created rock cycle models with modeling clay. Students used beads and different colours of clay to represent the three different types of rocks. They then labeled their rock cycles and explained their model.
In Math we were given a challenge to create a number using a base ten chart that uses 15 base 10 blocks. Together we discovered what the smallest number we could make using our place value chart could be. We also talked about what a very large number might be.
We have two more days to collect food for the food bank, and one more day to bring in toys for the toy sale.
-Spelling test is on Thursday.
-No school on Friday.
