In Math today we demonstrated our understanding of proper fractions. Students worked through a variety of questions that helped them to understand how to represent different fractions.
Students continued writing a story based on a picture prompt. We planned and wrote the story based on a picture that was shown to the whole class. We reviewed elements of a strong beginnings to help grab our reader's attention.
In Social studies we investigated how the First Nations people of Alberta used all the parts of the buffalo.
Finally we had some time to remember our field trip to Drumheller. The students are creating a journal page to help remember and represent what the learned from their experiences at the museum.
Please remember to review your basic facts this evening. Practice 7 times tables and the related division facts please.
Students need to be reading at home every night.
Have a wonderful evening.
