Parents,
We are aware of some recent concerns about student account security at the school. We would like to assure everyone that student accounts are secure. We are working with the students over the next few days to help them create more secure passwords, so that their profiles can remain private.
Please have a discussion with your child about not sharing their passwords or email with anybody.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's classroom teacher.
Sincerely,
The Grade 4 Team

Hour of Code
Today we had a special activity in the Learning Commons. We were able to participate in the Hour of Code.
The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. Anyone, anywhere can organize an Hour of Code event. One-hour tutorials are available in over 40 languages. No experience needed. Ages 4 to 104.
Students worked with the website code.org/learn to test their coding skills. T
They worked through a variety of coding levels each getting progressively more challenging. Many were very excited about this learning task and would like to work on it at home. I have included the website above if they would like to try some of this at home.
Reminders:
Report cards go home tomorrow
Please see Wednesday's blog for list of food items to bring in for the Canstruction project for the food bank.
Have a great evening!
