Today we continued to work on the Math Computer portion of the SLA’s. They are coming along great and the students are almost all completed. In the afternoon we continued with our Math stations. There are a variety of stations with activities aimed at specific math concepts, such as Place Value, Basic Fact Strategies, skip counting, and more! Ask your student to explain their favourite activity to you at home.
In Science today we created safety posters to encourage people to take care of their hearing and prevent noise pollution. Students used pictures and words to promote the protection of our sense of hearing.
Almost all of our self-portraits are completed and hanging in our classroom. They look beautiful. You can really see that the students utilized the mirrors to try to capture their facial features.
