Another busy day in room 74! We continued to explore Alberta's past by examining various artifacts. Students sketched artifacts and answered a variety of questions about what they thought their artifact was used for. They also recorded some wonderings they had about their artifact.
In math we continued solving our "Candy Factory" problem. To solve this question, students need to use their knowledge of multiplication. Students created various arrays or "boxes" and figured out all the different combinations of arrays for various numbers.
We are planning a walk to Fish Creek Park next Tuesday, October 6th. We will need 3 volunteers in order to go. Please let me know if you have your security clearance and if you are able to help us out. We will be going in the morning and returning well before lunch time.
Have a wonderful evening!
