We also started our poppy art. Yesterday we painted big sheets of paper in different shades of reds and oranges. We also tried to incorporate different textures with our paintbrushes. Today we got to trace and cut our poppies, while adding multiple layers of different shades of red. They look amazing!
Tomorrow afternoon, we will have special Halloween activities in our classroom. Students will be welcome to bring healthy classroom snacks. Some examples are fruit trays, veggie trays, cheese and crackers or a meat tray. So that we don't have repeats, please post what your child will bring for everyone in the comment section below. Thank you in advance!
Please don't send your child with any form of weapon (swords, guns, etc.), and save the gore for trick-or-treating. Accessories should stay home as well, unless it is something they will keep on throughout the day. There will be no changing into costumes during lunch, so please have your child dressed up when they get to school!
Have a great night!
