Today students enjoyed watching the grade 2's, 4's and AM kinder during their Quest Theatre performances. Before the performance students finished their literacy centers for the week, and will be having their spelling test tomorrow.
During writing students have been continuing to work on their story beginnings. Students are applying feedback from peer and teacher checks, and are typing up their good copies. Tomorrow we will look at some examples of "showing, not telling" to really help paint a picture with the words we choose.
Please send back Teacher's Pet forms and payment. Below is a notice about signing out books from the learning commons:
The last day for students to sign out books this year will be Thursday, June 11. All books will be due back by Tuesday, June 16. During the last week of school (June 22-26), we will be doing an inventory in the library, so it is especially important that we get all of the books back on time.
Question of the Day
Look at the fraction 4/9. Which number is the numerator, and which is the denominator? What do these numbers tell you?
Have a wonderful evening!
