During Math we revisited our "Number of the Day" activity which we did at the beginning of the year. Each student picks their own "good fit" number and works through a series of questions. We came up with the questions together, as the questions from the beginning of the year were too easy for our mathematicians now! This has been a very valuable activity as students have been able to compare their number of the day from the beginning of the year to now, and can really see their growth.
In art we've started creating some artwork for fathers/important important people in our lives. As we worked on this we discuss the roles that parents, care givers, and other supportive adults play in our lives. Students care deeply about everyone in their lives.
Question of the Day
Who are some of the important people in your life?
Have a great night!
