What a great Thursday! Today in social studies students had a chance to reflect on their Peru Poster. We have been talking a lot about the importance of reflecting after completing a task so that we can be continually improving. Students added a picture of their poster and a brief reflection on IRIS. Students should be very proud of their work. Take a look at these from home!
In math students continued to measure objects around the classroom. We learned that measuring using rulers can be tricky, and we talked about different strategies to effectively and accurately measure objects. We are excited to continue exploring measurement throughout the coming weeks.
Once again, Brier and Swimming forms are due back tomorrow. Below is a list of all the days we need more volunteers for swimming. If you are able to help us out please leave a comment on the blog or email me.
Monday March 2nd: 4 volunteers needed
Tuesday March 3rd: 3 volunteers needed
Thursday March 5th: 4 volunteers needed
Friday March 6th: 3 volunteers needed
Question of the Day
Show your family your Peru Poster on IRIS and ask for their feedback!
Have a great night.
