Students learned a lot from our science lesson today, especially the value of learning from our mistakes. Working together in groups, students were given two different types of beams to create. Some groups found this more challenging than others, as there were some complex directions to follow. We unfortunately didn’t get to test our beams today, as many groups had to re-start because the directions weren’t properly followed. We used this as a learning experience, and took some time to reflect as a class and in their groups about what we would do differently next time. We will continue to explore beams next week.
