Happy Monday! We had a great day back today. Students spent some time this morning working with "skeleton sentences." We took some boring/plain sentences, and stretched them out to include more detail and description. Students were tasked to look through their writing books to find skeleton sentences of their own and then re-write them in an improved way.
In math today students continued to work on their multiplication and division basic facts poster. It is titled "Figure Me out". Students have a variety of questions with their answer hidden underneath a sticky notes. They are then challenging their classmates to figure out the answers by reading the basic facts clue. For example: How old am I? Hint --> 45 divided by 5.
Please bring back inline skating forms as soon as you can. We will start this NEXT week but the sooner you get the forms back, the better! Thank you.
Question of the Day
What do you think the banana peel will look like next week?
Have a great night!
