Today students continued exploring area by examining meters. We started with a scavenger hunt to find objects that would be best measured using meters, and worked together with a partner to measure and calculate the area of our objects. Using a scale, students then started making a blue-print design of an Ultimate Playground. We will continue working with this throughout the week.
We also spent some time reflecting in our visual journals about our trip to the Tyrrell Museum, as well as finishing up our KWL chart that we started before we went on the trip. Students added information to the "L" section of the chart (what they learned).
Reminders
- Evergreen's Got Talent show is this Friday at 10:00. Parents are welcome to attend
Question of The Day

Have a great night!
