We started some writing today for our Remembrance Day Assembly. We worked together to brainstorm what we think of when we hear the word peace. After watching a visual essay about Peace we finished the sentence Peace is… We also had a chance to present our ideas to the class. We will continue to develop our ideas about peace throughout next week.
Next week we will be creating some art to accompany our Peace writing to be displayed at the Remembrance Day assembly.
Students are bringing home their spelling test from today, along with their new personalized words. Some common misspelled words in everyone’s writing from this week were chosen for our new word wall words for the coming week.
