Good afternoon students and families!
This week went by super fast! Today we did a pass it art activity accompanied with music. Students got to draw pictures, lines or symbols that represented the mood of different pieces of music. They then got to pass it and continue a drawing of someone else!
Next week we will have a full week of school! We will begin reading The Tale of Despereaux! We all are excited to find out the adventures of Despereaux the mouse. We will continue practicing in our Reader's Theater groups and getting ready to present for the class. In Math, we will have more practice solving real life scenarios and examples of dividing into equal groups. Next week in Science, our Grade 3's will take the role of engineers in the designing and building of structures with toothpicks and marshmallows.
Reminders: Please return Fish Creek and University of Lethbridge Forms. So far we have no volunteers for our Fish Creek Fieldtrip on Monday, March 13. We would love if parents could come join us discover the wildlife and animals that live at Fish Creek Park-Bow Valley Ranche location. If you are able to join us, please send Mrs. Wilcox an email. Thank you very much.
Have a great weekend!
