Check out the math section of the blog for a card game that will help with speed and accuracy with math facts. Some are finding that as they are attempting to add three digit numbers with our math monsters that they need to reveiw accuracy with addition facts to 18. Mathletics will also provide opportunities for practice. We enjoyed an art and literacy activity with our Grade 1 buddies today. Students should be able to report the results of the our test for hardness with rocks and minerals today. We used the laptops to practice spelling patterns and write about some Social Studies vocabulary: polluted, nomads, official language, people, mayor, minister (government), referendum, region. We have viewed videos about life in both India and Peru this week. We finished our read aloud novel The One and Only Ivan yesterday and we cheered because of the happy ending. Thanks for all the helpful comments each day, everyone. They support our learning in class.

We will be happy to go outside again,
