Today we had an amazing finish to our Hearing and Sound study. Calum Graham played a number of different guitars and helped us recognize that there can be many ways to produce sound using an instrument. He's living his dream as a musician, but grew up in nearby High River. Ask your Grade 3 student for some facts about ear safety. We have been looking at infographics on the topic. Now, we're collecting some data from our classmates using a survey and put it into our own graph. Students should be able to identify a number of ways we have gathered information about Hearing and Sound. Our work preparing for Remembrance Day continues in Music and in class. We will have a visit from a Canadian Military Service Person next week. We finished some multi-step art pieces for Remembrance Day. Happy birthday to Jada on Oct. 26. Here are some counting challenges for Grade 3 Math - count forwards and backwards from different starting and end points from 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 and 25 up to 100 and beyond. Today we counted different combinations of coins.
