Happy Tuesday,
We started off our day with Literacy Circles. Students rotated through 3 staions this morning, ask me what stations I did.
In gym we played a game of tag with Mrs. Leonard’s class before we rehearsed our dance for ALS. We did so well on our dance, we didn’t need Mrs. Luckwell to show us the steps as we went along.
After snack and recess we read 3 chapters in Despereaux and then worked in our visual journals.
We had buddies this afternoon. We had so much fun with the grade 1’s teaching them about the different ways we can measure things. Ms. Siegfried and Mrs. Byciuk put together a scavenger hunt for us. Ask me about some of the stuff that we looked for.
Evergreen for ALS
Our Kick-Off Walk for ALS will be this Thursday, June 1st @ 1:00pm. Our entire school community will be out in full force to raise awareness for ALS and to support our teacher and friend, Mrs. Y. All proceeds from our walk will stay in Alberta to make each day the best possible day for people living with and affected by ALS. Please use the link below if you would like to make an online donation. Cash donations are always welcome! Please remember to wear a PURPLE shirt (green or white if you don't have purple)
