Happy Wednesday Students and Families!
Today we participated in a very special assembly to celebrate and honour our amazing school principal Mrs. Healing who is leaving our school to open a new school in Silverado called Ron Suthern School. The students put a lot of effort and thought into a personal letter they each wrote that we made into a book and presented to Mrs. Healing as something to remember the amazing students of Room 72.
It is our turn to be invited to the knitting club during Tuesday and Wednesday lunch hours for two weeks starting the week we are back from Spring Break. Students can participate in knitting a toque for themselves, as well as a toque that will be donated to children in need. The cost to join this club is $10.00 which includes the use of a loom that will be provided by teachers as well as different coloured yarn for their toque. Forms were sent home today and need to be brought back, signed with payment by Monday April 3. For students who forgot to take home a form will be able to pick one up and take home on Monday!
We hope you will find some time to keep practicing your math operations over the Spring Break on Mathletics or IXCL Math which is available at this link: https://ca.ixl.com/math/grade-3
