Comment Challenge: We are working on ordering numbers. Can you give us a list of 5 numbers between 100 and 900 that we can practice putting in order from greatest to least and least to greatest?
We have had many UofC pre-service teachers visiting our school and classroom this week and last. Soon, we will have a pre-service teacher from Mount Royal University in our class from January to April. That will be exciting. Thank-you for your patience if you noticed some confusion with the spelling words. They should be correct now and we will have a spelling quiz this Friday. Today in Science, we thought about all the ways we learned about Hearing and Sound. We came up with 14 ways from listening to an expert, to interviewing each other, to watching a video, to doing experiments in other classes. We worked on strategies for 2 digit addition today in our Math Store. We are comparing tools for finding information - including different finds of maps.
Reminders: The Grade Three classes are hosting the Remembrance Day assembly on Nov. 10 at 10:00 AM. Please join us if you can. Mrs. HMcD has asked that students dress in red/white/black combinations.
We made it to November!
