Students are working to finish up their Social Studies research. Our next steps involve creating sentences and paragraphs from our jot notes. Students are also thinking about how they would like to share their information with their classmates. Some of the end project ideas are power points, dioramas posters, pamphlets and alphabet books. It would be great to talk with your child tonight at home about which project they would like to create about their region. If they are making a diorama they may need to bring some things from home to help make their region complete.
In Math today we began a project that helps us think about numbers and equations. The project is called Figure Me Out. Students think of personal numbers and then create an equation in which the answer to the equations is the number about them. For example if a student's age is 9 what type of question could they create to have the answer work out to be 9?
We will continue to work on this project tomorrow.
For extra practice this evening please find the difference between these numbers:
435 and 258
2325 and 1468
Read tonight for 15 minutes.
Reminders:
Remembrance Day Assembly tomorrow at 10:30am (all welcome)
Photo Retakes are tomorrow.
Have a wonderful evening!
