Parents, we watched the grade 3s during their Remembrance Day practice this afternoon, and we were extremely impressed. Their practice has paid off, and their voices shine through. Their artwork, too, is coming together. Please click here to see some of their outstanding work.
Students also began crafting their entertaining beginnings. Today we focused on beginning stories with a worry or a wonder. The students worked on the picture prompt below, please have your child talk about it with you!
Tomorrow we will have students ask questions and share what they know about rocks and minerals. Students will create a journal page. Criteria for journal pages can be found here.
Please remind your children to wear red, black, or white this Friday for the Remembrance Day assembly.
Also, we have Pink Eye going around. The school policy is that students can come to school after they have been treated for 24 hours. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send us an email!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hordyk
Mr. MacKenzie
