We have been continuing our work on Iris. Iris can be tricky, because it requires serious self-reflection and critical thinking where students put themselves in the driver's seat of their learning. They have (hopefully) all added an artifact or two to their IRIS portfolio. Iris can be found here.
Tomorrow we will have the students write us letters. We are trying out a new strategy where we can hear from each and every kid to learn where they are feeling successful, where they are feeling lost, or where we can just get to know them better. This is our second week where they write us letters and we write back. They are getting better each time!
Question of the Day:
Choose a starting number and roll this dice. Decide if you are increasing or decreasing (or both) and write the next five numbers in your pattern.
For example: Pattern Rule= - 6
245, 239, 233, 227, 221, 215
Have a great night!
