Our students are becoming reflective leaners and are building their skills in self-assessment. We've been using rubrics throughout all of the subjects, and students have been honestly finding areas for growth and areas that they are doing well. For example, some students were able to reflect on how rubrics helped to improve their readers' theatre projects that were completed prior to the winter break.
We also took our probability exploration a step further today as students discovered why 7 is the most likely to be rolled with 2 dice. They discovered how many ways there are to get 2 through 12, and we are working on connecting that with their data from yesterday.
We are excited to get going on a Social Studies project where students become visual designers and create a poster that reflects the questions they created about Tunisia during our virtual field trip.
Have a great night!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hordyk
