Hello,
Today, learners had the opportunity to continue working in their Literacy Circles. Learners had a "working session," where they met with others in the same role to document their findings. Leaners are well into their books and are encouraged to share some of their findings with parents with regards to their role (ie. Discussion Director, Artist, Passage Master, Blogger, Connector) and what the next steps might include.
Learners also finished their car designs for Math and worked on creating a detailed schematic diagram complete with measurements in decimals. Some learners chose to take their cars home to share.
This afternoon, learners rotated to the next Bicycle Station and spent time learning about different aspects of bicycles at their station. There was an opportunity afterwards to document their observations and insights in their visual journals.
Tomorrow, we will preparing for our Plant project in science and will begin by investigating the germination process in pea plants - should be interesting!
Thanks.
Mr.Smith.
