The grade 4 students have been eagerly working on artistic displays of Alberta's natural regions. They are currently using tape, paper and wooden platforms to create land formations representative of a chosen region. In order to make our displays, we have also had to research the unique land formations that we might find in each region. These might include mountains, foothills, lakes, rivers and hoodoos. As we continue the project student's will deepen their understanding of Alberta landforms, climate, animals, plants and natural resources. They will add detail to their work using paper mache, paint and other materials.
Students are asked to bring in a photograph of their family, as we will be using it in our expert writing, as well as for a french language project.
Thanks for a great day grade fours!
