The kids have been working extremely hard this week - they've been given additional independence and choice in their activities, and they are rising to the challenge! We have taken, sorted, and refined all of their questions from their "trip" to Tunisia, and they are going to begin their projects on Monday when they submit their project proposals.
We've also begun an art project where students will examine the architecture and home design in Tunisia to create a cityscape with Tunisian features. They have started by creating 3d buildings in 1-point perspective, that they will continue working on next Friday.
Next week is going to be another good one, filled with talking, sharing, and investigating. Have a great weekend with your kids!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hordyk
Mr. MacKenzie
PS. Don't forget to check out their acrostic poems from yesterday. Hold your mouse over our blog and another page option will come up!
