Hello,
We had our half-day Friday today. The weather was gorgeous and we had an outside interclass Capture the Flag competition - great exercise! We also continued our reading with Ticket to Curlew and learned about the families daily activities during the winter months. I'm sure that learners can tell their family members about their impressions of prairie life in the winter season during the early 1900s. Learners are also further along in their Social Studies research and have moved onto an additional two squares of their choosing for categories to research. Learners can tell their family members about the "squares" (eg. Who, What, When, ....) in their note sheets.
Thanks,
Mr. Smith.
