Today we had a wonderful day exploring the Bow Habitat! Students had a great experience learning about the life cycle of a rainbow trout. Students used a variety of hands on samples, visuals and explorations.
The students spent the morning traveling through the 4 stages of the trout life cycle. At each station students learned about each stage in depth, and also explored the characteristics and adaptations of the fish. Ask your student what are the four stages of a rainbow trout's life cycle!
The highlight of the day for many was when we went into the hatchery floor and visited the trout. We fed 21,000 in one trough! I believe everyone got splashed!
Quick reminders:
Have a wonderful evening!
