Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful break and are feeling rested and ready for the final countdown!
Today students began exploring Ukraine! We watched a video following two children through Kiev, and started reading about the culture and local folktales. We are especially interested in pysanky eggs, a local Easter egg decorating tradition. Ask your student what is a pysanka and how they are made! We will be designing our own eggs and decorating them over the next two weeks.
We also reviewed division and multiplication today, and discussed how the two operations are linked together, just like addition and subtraction. Ask your student how to make equal groups!
Reminders!
Have a wonderful evening!
