This morning we continued talking about story structure and identifying elements of stories (such as setting, character, problem and solution) through Pixar. Students watched Pixar short film and discussed what each element was. Students then recorded the information visually using words and pictures. The results were fantastic!
This afternoon we focused on learning how our ears work! Students took their notes from yesterday and turned them into a diagram of the ear, labelling all the parts and describing the function of some parts. Tomorrow we will be turning our drawings into models with clay. Ask your student what the job of the ear drum is!
