Today we put on our scientist hats and performed an experiment! Students built a cylinder, rectangular prism and triangular prism out of paper, and then tested how much weight each one would hold. We then built a visual journal page with our hypothesis, a graph, and a conclusion. Students decided that the cylinder was the strongest shape because it has no corners to create weaknesses. Ask your student how much weight each object held, and if their hypothesis proved correct!
We have our rescheduled skating date! We will be going skating for the final time on March 2nd. We will be arriving at the same time, 3:15-3:30pm. Please make the appropriate arrangements to pick up your student. If any parents would like to accompany us please send me an email!
Please remember that there is NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Friday or Monday!
Have a wonderful looooong weekend! Enjoy the beautiful sun!
