Today we expanded our understanding of three dimensional objects by looking at the faces, edges and vertices on a variety of objects. Students then used their knowledge to construct their own 3D object (a rectangular or triangular prism) from a net. Ask your student what the challenges were of constructing the object! We will be applying our knowledge of 3D objects tomorrow when we continue with our building challenge!
This afternoon we continued with our Van Gogh artist study. Students wrote responses to their sunflower art - why they chose the colours they did, what they would do differently next time, and why they liked Van Gogh's art (or why not!).
Quick reminder that if you have not sent back your orange skating form then please do so as soon as possible! Thank you!
Have a wonderful evening!
