Today students continued working on their videos explaining multiplication and division, and how the two are related. Students are enjoying using Explain Everything, and are continuing to use criteria to help them create a clear video!
This afternoon students learned about the UN's Convention on the Rights of the Child. We started by sorting wants from needs, and deciding that while a want is something it would be nice to have, a need is something required to survive, and be happy and healthy. We then read the book I Have the Right to be a Child, and discussed how children have the right to clean water, food, play, education, and many more! Ask your student which two rights they decided were the most important to them.
Quick reminders:
Have a wonderful evening!
