We had a very exciting day! Our praying mantis' hatched!
We noticed this morning that the egg sac had split open and praying mantis' were scattered around the container. We spent most of our day observing the mantis', building habitats for them, discussing their life cycle and beginning a new visual journal page about them. Ask your student about their habitat and what they have observed about their mantis!
Mrs. Robinson joined us in the afternoon and taught us about self-care and yoga. We practiced a few yoga sequences, trying to remember to breathe!
This evening is our art exhibition at the Fish Creek Park Educational Centre (15931 Woodpath Road SW). We will be there from 4-6, looking forward to seeing the class there!
A very important message!
