Whew! What a busy day!
Today we started our morning with a lockdown drill. As a class, we discussed how it is important to be safe and silent and still during the drill, even though it may be tempting to giggle. Students took the drill very seriously, and no one panicked when Mr. Fred opened our door at the end and said "Bonjour!"
We also discussed concluding sentences for our non-fiction paragraphs. We wrote two sentences to end the appearance paragraph, one that began with "All in all" and another "In conclusion. Ask your student which sentence starter they thought was stronger.
This afternoon we worked on several art projects, including a surprise for Dad! Shhhh!
We are going to be having a special picnic in Fish Creek Park on Tuesday, June 27 to celebrate the end of our wonderful grade 3 year! If any parents would like to join us then please send me an email.
Have a wonderful day!
