Today we had a conversation about behaviour expectations in the classroom. We watched the book, What If Everybody Did That? and discussed how as a class one of our jobs is to think about how our behaviour affects those around us. Students made a goal of one behaviour they would like to improve, and how I can support them. I am excited to see these goals in action next week!
We also continued to practice our reader's theatre. We will be performing for and getting feedback from our class next week!
A quick message from Grade Two!
Our class has been discussing how we can help others in Calgary on Valentines Day. We have discussed sharing the love for Valentines by thinking of others. We have decided to have a heart day and collect donations for the food bank, the homeless, and Calgary Humane Society. If you would like to participate, we will be collecting items such as non- perishable food, toiletries or warm accessories (socks, scarves, mitts) or pet food. We will collect Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so that Mrs. Tipper can deliver them on Thursday. Please drop off any items to Mrs. Tipper and Mrs. Stuart’s class.
Sincerely,
Mrs Stuart and Mrs Tipper’s Grade 2s
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, enjoy the sun!
