Dear Families,
We continued our conversation about Quality of Life. Students were asked if they were told they had to leave and only take 4 items with them, what would they take in order to survive. They concluded that they would need food, water, clothing and shelter. Students were then provided with their next challenge, what do you need in order to have fun? In their groups students create a very long list of different materials and electronics they require in order to have fun. They were asked to go back to their lists and cross off any activities that required some sort of material other than themselves. They were shocked that most of their list was crossed off. Students were given their final challenge: Create a game or activity that requires no materials. We went outside and shared the games. It was a lot of fun!
Reminders:
Please bring in food for Veteran's Food Bank
Remembrance Day Assembly - Thursday 10 am.
Book orders due Thursday.
Have a great night!
